What is DEBRISVERSE? – The Ultimate Thrill of Endless Debt Repayment

DEBRISVERSE is a sci-fi incremental game where you work as a debris cleaner for the mega-corporation B.R.I.S. Corp. Your mission: destroy space debris to pay off an astronomical debt of $100 million.

Players upgrade their tools to obliterate massive amounts of debris, triggering screen-filling effects and absurd exponential growth.

The Dark Side: Hack the System and Uncover the Conspiracy

However, this is not just a simple debt-repayment game.

By following UI glitches and unnatural system anomalies, players can access “black market shops” and “hidden terminals” normally unreachable in standard play. By digging deeper into the system, players will close in on the massive conspiracy hidden by B.R.I.S. Corp.

Furthermore, system interference is not the only trigger for narrative branching. The way you approach your tasks, the choices you make, and your “unconventional actions” act as hidden flags, leading to 7 completely different endings.

Major Demo Update for Steam Next Fest

In preparation for Steam Next Fest, the demo has been significantly expanded:

  • Implemented a special ending reachable at “0 seconds”.
  • Added the story-critical boss “Mega Debris” (available exclusively during the Next Fest period).
  • Various balance adjustments and visual improvements.

New Trailer Released

Alongside this update, a new trailer has been released. It perfectly captures both sides of the game: the highly satisfying incremental gameplay of destroying debris, and the unsettling atmosphere of a system gradually being corrupted by UI noise, hidden terminals, and unauthorized upgrades.

Playtest Now Live: Witness the “Beyond” of Debt Repayment

Beyond the scope of the demo, a public playtest is currently running, allowing players to complete an entire “first run” up until the $100 million debt is paid off.

What awaits the “model employee” who diligently completes their work and pays off the debt? Is it the freedom they longed for, or something far worse? We invite you to experience a glimpse of the dark world that forms the core of DEBRISVERSE.
